Just imagine your self driving one of these....

Lindsay Lohan Lashes out at Father

What has the world come to when a father uses his blog to make comments about his daughter. Its sad to think that the conventional family has been flushed down the drain and has been replaced with parents communicating with their children or about their children in a public domain such as the internet and television. Honestly if I were Ms. Lohan I would be so embarrased by my fathers lame attempt so gain fame through my own. Its really truly sad.

So Lindsay Lohans father Michael said in an interview with E! this week that gal pal Samantha Ronson was "using" his daughter.

Lindsay lased out on her Myspace blog saying...
"If you have something to say to me, say it to my face - that's what I have believed my whole life - don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world," Lohan wrote on her MySpace page. .........
She continued: "Having said that - the people were right, and he is yet to change - but this time, without his daughter by his side - he has become a public embarrassment and a bully - to my family, my co-workers, my friends and a girl that means the world to me (it's obvious who that is)".

Wal-Mart Everyday Low prices and Everyday Crooks

I stopped shopping at Wal*Mart about a year ago. Why? You may ask, well after seeing a special on Walmarts business pratices here and overseas I was disgusted and just couldn't find it in me to spend my money with a company that doesn't care about its employees or the community.... Check out the facts

Workers abroad who labor in Wal-Mart’s suppliers’ factories routinely experience:

Forced Labor
In violation of law, workers are routinely forced to work overtime, often 16-18 hours a day.

Minimum Wage Violations
Many workers are paid up to 30% below their country’s legal minimum wage.

Maternity Leave Violations
Most female workers are denied their legal maternity leave and their benefits.

Overtime Pay Violations
Workers are rarely, if ever, paid overtime. Although they often work more than twice the legal number of hours in a week, they are not paid more than their regular wages.

Health Care Violations
The health clinics that many countries require their factories to have often do not exist and workers are NOT provided with basic safety equipment, such as dust masks.

Right to Form Independent Unions Denied
More than 80% of Wal-Mart’s merchandise suppliers are in China, where workers do not have the right of freedom of association.

Bathroom Breaks Violations
In many of the factories, workers need a ticket and permission to use the bathroom. Their breaks are timed.

Wal-Mart has the ability to impact business as usual because of their large numbers of direct suppliers (No Boundaries Wal-Mart clothing brand) as well as indirect suppliers (Mattel Toys). Wal-Mart is leading the worldwide race to the bottom in wages and working conditions. It has capitalized on global trade rules that allow full access to the U.S. market, even if products are made under conditions of extreme repression.

In order for Wal-Mart to improve conditions in its supplier factories it must first fundamentally alter its business practice of demanding a continuously lower price from supplier factories – a price which renders those factories unable to pay workers a living wage. Further, Wal-Mart must commit to supplying from those factories in which workers have democratic representation and the right to bargain collectively with their employer. Additionally, Wal-Mart must open its supply chain to independent monitoring so that independent, unannounced, factory assessments may take place.

You may say well that is overseas well right here in America Walmart...

Pays their employers borderline poverty wages

Expensive healthcare that employees can't afford...so they are forced to draw on welfare

They are Anti Union...and they will fire anyone who speaks the words Union

Forced Unpaid Overtime (Federal Jury found them guilty of this in Portland, Oregon)

How does Walmart effect your community...

If there is a Walmart near your house it is bringing down your property value because Walmarts pick up and leave and leave empty buildings all over town.

The government gives Walmart millions and millions of dollars to build their store which take away from the schools, police departments, fire stations and other community organizations. And you wonder why teachers make so little and schools are underfunded.

Walmart eats small businesses whole. Leaving family businesses in ruins.

Next time when you go to walmart think of all the things you are contributing to by buying things at Walmarts Everyday Lowprices...
